This morning I read a quote that cracked me up, "Fathers are bankers provided by nature." It's supposedly a French proverb. I was thinking about fathers myself and came up with something more like: when you're a kid Dad is a hero, when you're an adolescent he is an authority, and when you're grown Dad is your friend and biggest fan.
